The Fountain Gate hotel has a great range of poker machines very friendly staff lovely food at a great price and always helpful with any problems also will serve you drinks from where you are sitting at your machine and I love that they have a separate smoking area not like a lot of other places we have to leave the premises to go and have a cigarette everyone is always friendly and helpful
Bar and pokies clean . Good service
Several tables were dirty and the same used drinking glasses sitting on their respective tables before I arrived remained as I left. I was only in for probably 20 minutes for a drink. The gentleman at the bar appeared to be the only worker there and was stuck behind the bar constantly making drinks for patrons. He was clearly working hard and credit to him for keeping the place open. It did appear he had no time to do any cleaning, which is a little disappointing considering how much revenue this place takes from poker machines. I reckon there should've been another person to handle this. For an early afternoon visit on the way out of the shopping centre, you'd think the place would be a little more looked-after with a simply spray and wipe. Despite this its a nice modern pub in a great location with hard working staff.
