Mordialloc and Parkdale have come a long way in the last few years, but nothing has the vibe, the food, the wine (and quite the gin selection!) like Albas. The friendly service will have you coming back time and time again. You have to check it out.
Great authentic Italian cuisine, crisp and fresh food, happy hour was very good value and the take away pizza and pasta is bang on!

Update: January 2019: downgraded rating from 4* to 1*. Although service and coffee wss still good, found the quality of food has gone down. Pasta dishes were not as good and sauces a bit bland. My hubby ordered pizza and the crust was of different texture and topping was less. I found out there was a change of chef. Friends went for brekkie and definitely quality has changed. Not for the better unfortunately. Hit and miss atm. Hope sauces and quantity improves. What a pity. Oct 2018Nice local wine bar and cafe. Food is great. Love the authentic Italian fare (fresh pastas and great pizzas!) and service is really friendly and homey. Quite accommodating to our requests in change to menu. Kid friendly. Ordered the risottos and star eggs (baked beans in paella pan with ham,pork fennel mince, eggs and goats cheese). Yum! Will be back.
Excellent service, staff are friendly + helpful. Delicious cappuccino made to my request! Mouth-watering egg + bacon muffin. I love coming here!
