Went to emergency yesterday and the service from start to finish was outstanding. They greeted me when I arrived (volunteers) advised when i was next and kept me informed. The nurses, doctors and surgeon where out of this world, they all kept me up to date with what was happening and how long i would expect to wait. I was at the hospital for 4 hrs but i could not ask for more service. Well done everyone. world class
2 years ago I was admitted to a Hospital for the first time in my 76 years, the treatment and care i received at Fiona Stanley was to say the least, amazing, the medical staff and carers are unbelievable, you get the feeling that you are the only patient in their care they are the most caring people I have ever met. My Wife was recently admitted for an overnight stay with a minor condition, she received the same caring and professional treatment as myself. Who in their right mind would waste money on Private Health cover when you have Fiona Stanley. My Wife was admitted overnight recently with a high Fever and viral infection, the treatment she received was excellent and very professional, they are a most caring group of people who put the Patient first, well done.
BE CAREFUL OF YOUR IPHONE CHARGER.I have no problem with the care of Fiona Stanley but they have a serious problem in respect to security of personal property like iPhone chargers. Mine went missing yesterday (31-12-2018) and then as I was checking out I personally witnessed another patient reporting the loss of his charger ... Very strange and too much of a coincidence!!!
Amazing care for my Dad who recently passed away, at the Hospital. The dedication, care and support for all family members . Accomodating all 17 of us in the Emergency dept. Can't thank you all enough. Outstanding
I gave birth to my daughter at Fiona Stanley via c section, the doctors and the midwives in the theatre were amazing and incredibly helpful and pleasant but the after birth however was a different story the midwifes didnt listen to me they didnt teach me how to breast feed my daughter they didnt even give her a first bath they didnt help us with anything and was kicked out of our room because it was at capacity I couldnt even have my dinner they constantly forgot my medications and was treated as I was a burden when I asked for help with my daughter and to top it all off I was discharged from the hospital without any of my proscribed medications. Will not be returning to this hospital what a joke this place is
