Average service but good food
Amazing service and food! All of the food arrived piping hot and in a timely manner. We had a table of 6 and ordered all different meals across the night and nothing could be faulted. Can be altered to any requirements, nothing was a problem. Staff were trained and friendly. All round great service!
Went for lunch had the yum cha the food was tasty. I couldn't understand the waitress so it made It hard to know what you were getting . Nothing was explained about how it worked and how much things cost .i think they should give you a menu . The decor was a bit out dated .
The Golden Orient is a fantastic spot, my family and I love going there for a Yum Cha lunch. The food is phenomenal, the staff are very friendly and accommodating (I dont like certain foods and the go out of their way to let me know alternatives that they offer or bring me something I ask for from the kitchen if its not readily available) and the best part is the price. Highly recommended. Big or small groups. Give it a go.
I went there to get take away. Staff were very helpful and friendly but it was mothers day and they were incredibly busy and everything took awhile. The food was nice enough. I don't know what the dine in experience is like. Only tip i have is check your order before leaving it seemed a few people had some trouble. Mine was fine FYI.
