Amazing staff and awesome facility, by far the best gym in the south east areas. Family orientated and super inviting, set yourself a goal and if you're serious about it you'll achieve that and more at this place. Would recommend to anyone who wants to make themselves better both physically and mentally.
Very disappointed I went in to look at price options - the receptionist was lovely. The trainers not at all the man who saw me keep talking bad about my previous gym which was a great gym I just wanted to see cheaper options. I thought that was very unprofessional. I felt he talked down to me acting as I was less. Yes I don't have as much knowledge as him but I shouldn't be treated like that. As soon as I said I didn't want to sign up today and wanted to think, the little friendly attitude he had disappeared and you could see he thought I was a waste of time and just a number. Needless to say I well not be signing up.
I havent yet signed up, but i have put in a cancel membership with my current gym. I went there on saturday and i was impressed on the layout the tidyness / cleaness of this gym. Will be signing up later this week as they have everything i use in my work out ( EVEN HAND CHALK ) never been to a public gym that supplies hand chalk.. a Gym that goes beyond to ensure its customers are happy will go far... just waiting on the call back from them.. this part they lack but wont hold that against them.
At first it it almost seemed to be to good to be true. A gym to be community focused is rare these days and at first both the environment and staff seemed very nice and welcoming. However for a gym based around making you feel at home and to feel like a community, i didn't see much of that during my time at the gym(Around 6 months). I constantly felt like i was being judged and you would think that a gym focused around the principles they claim to uphold, that everybody would be welcome and the environment would be a strictly no-judgement zone as all gyms should be. Some of the staff there are absolutely amazing but some are two-faced and talk behind your back. To keep this review as short as possible i will not go into detail, all i'll say is when i was obviously in a bad mental place only a few of the staff even bothered to talk to me about it and i did not feel like a part of the family when i was in that gym.
